Dear readers, as I promised when I went from writing a post every day of the week to posting only on three days a week, if something just needed to be posted, I would most certainly write on an “off” day. Well, today is one of those days.
I would like to announce the grand opening of my second Etsy shop: JOY Card Emporium!
This new store features vintage cards (and hopefully, eventually, paper).
I was first introduced to vintage cards when I discovered a box of vintage post cards in an antique store some years ago. The fact that I am already a nut for pretty papers and stationary seemed to lend itself to naturally to the creation of this store.
The store name comes from a very special place. Most of the cards that will be listed in the store first come from a collection of cards that I inherited from my grandmother. I have happily delved into this stash on many occasions over the years, but there are so many, I know I’ll never go through them all! So, here at the beginning, I am sharing some of these cards with you. For that, you can thank my grandmother, Joyce, for whom the store is named.
That’s all for today! I’d love for you to stop by and check out JOY Card Emporium. 🙂 I am still in the process of listing everything, and probably will not have all of my current inventory listed until the end of the week. Keep checking back!
